Trumpet Lesson – Learn to Play Happy Birthday to You
In this trumpet lesson, learn how to play a melody to the song Happy Birthday to You without sheet music. A melody worth memorizing for special occasions!
The most common trumpet is a transposing instrument with a Bb pitch. That’s the instrument you’re probably playing. This means that playing a melody in C major on a trumpet will actually sound like it was played in Bb major.
This trumpet lesson helps you find the lyrics to the song Happy Birthday To You line by line in F major using chord symbols written in Eb major for guitar, piano or other chorded instrument . Chord symbols are placed before the syllables you play.
Below the lyrics are the notes played on the trumpet. This lesson uses note names, assuming you know how to play notes on the trumpet. Some systems also display note lengths.
