Top 10 Positive Thinking Affirmations – What a Great Way to Start Each Day

Positive daily Affirmations are a fabulously easy way to start your journey to a more confident you. Repeatedly telling yourself over and over again – with BELIEF – that you are all those wonderful things that you desire you will start manifesting itself in your very being.

By using daily Positive Affirmations we are technically “Brain Training”. By telling our “Conscious mind” how wonderful, successful and happy we are, eventually it will become part of our “Sub Conscious”. Or to be specific – “Second Nature”. Our sub conscious mind is so filled up with all the negative thoughts that have transpired through all the pains of the past that we need to un-train our negative sub conscious. We can do this by Self-Talk. Self-Talk by using Positive Affirmations is a kind of Self-hypnosis. By using positive affirmations daily we can train our sub conscious mind, in turn our conscious mind into believing we are that fabulous person and all those fabulous things we say to ourselves each day.

The trick is to to BELIEVE – that you are (not can be) the affirmations you are saying. If you do not “BELIEVE” what you are saying this will not work for you. The words you say will be merely that – Words.

This is not hard – This is so easy you’ll wonder why you didn’t do this year’s ago.

Below are 10 positive affirmations that you should start using today, on a daily basis. It won’t always be easy to Believe what you are saying, but you must keep persisting. If you have a bad day, forgive yourself or others and wake up the next day knowing that you cannot change the past and today is the first day of the rest of your life.

I can definitely testify that it took me less than 30 days to break free of my negative thoughts and to be that Confident person that I am today. Using positive daily affirmations is one very important step in the process to becoming that fabulous confident person today.

Stay Positive – Believe you have it today (not will be) – and enjoy the journey!

1. “I AM a Fabulous Confident person”. “Everybody likes me and I Like everybody”

Let this be the first thing you say each and every morning to yourself. Repeat it over and over again. While you’re in the shower. Driving to work or riding the bus. But, don’t just say it BELIEVE IT! Without belief they are just empty words.

2. “I AM Happy and looking forward to today”!

Sometimes we wake up with a headache or it’s raining outside. Don’t let this stop you being happy. To use a rainy day as an example: – You can look out the window and think – It’s raining – Bugga! Or you can look out the window and think – Great! It’s raining – This will help the plants or clean the roads, etc. Might sound a bit lame to you right now, but, believe me just shifting from negative to positive thinking can change your entire outcome of the day.

3. “I KNOW Success is mine”

Whatever your goals, live in the belief that you already HAVE achieved them today! If it’s a promotion at work you desire – act as though you HAVE it! If you want to lose 10 pounds – act as though you HAVE already lost the weight. Affirmations work on the premise of “Laws of Attraction”. Believe it, work towards it and it will be yours.

4. “I AM so healthy and energetic”.

Focus on your potential – not your limitations. Even if you have an affliction, most times there is always someone worse off! Focus on what you have got. Ie; You can see, you can walk, you can sing, etc. Use the ‘cup is half full’ thought – not the ‘cup is half empty’.

5. “I Learn from my Mistakes – NOT Fear them”.

When you make a mistake, think about it. Try to understand how the mistake was made and how you can prevent it from happening again. FORGIVE YOURSELF, apologise to anyone who was affected by the mistake and move forward. Living with the guilt or embarrassment is only detrimental to your personal self-growth and won’t help you to being the Confident person you are striving to be. “Get back on the horse”. So to speak.

6. “I am more than I am demonstrating”.

Ever thought “Wow” That person laughed at my joke, or smiled at me, or said good morning and I don’t even like them. More times than not it is because you really don’t like yourself. Know that “Others see you differently to the way you see yourself”. Know that you are bigger and better than you ever believed yourself to be. This is not being arrogant. This is loving who you are! Fake it if you have to. Remember it takes 30 days to break a habit. Fake it till it becomes second nature.

7. “I AM Courageous”

Be brave. There will be times where your fears and anxieties get the better of you. When you feel your heart racing, start to sweat, or blush take a deep breath, tell yourself you have nothing to fear because you are a fantastically confident new you. You may need to retreat to a quiet place for a few minutes. Continue to use all the positive self-talk you can. At times of stress and anxiety it will be tougher to really believe the words you are repeating, however, keep repeating these positive affirmations, keep breathing slowly. Eventually, you will calm down. Train yourself to BELIEVE what you are saying. This is a tough area for some people more than others. But, with constant commitment to retraining your brain with Affirmations, especially at times of stress, you will find yourself improving. Eventually, being able to cope at stressful times.

8. “I AM Excited and Enthusiastic about everything I do”

So many people go to work (especially Monday’s) thinking YUK! Another day another dollar. Wrong attitude to have! Find ways to enjoy your job! Instead of thinking oh dear more customers today – look forward to meeting the customer. Give them a smile and they will give you one back. Perhaps you work in a complaint call center and you just can’t stand it. Then it’s time to get out!

Find something about what you do exciting – get enthused – revitalize the job. Go into work everyday and say to yourself – “Pretend this is the first day on the job”. We are all excited the first day on the job. You can find that excitement again! Try it – you will be amazed.

9. “I live with the utmost integrity and HAVE Earnt the RESPECT of all around me”.

Respect yourself and others will respect you! Live your life with 100% integrity in all that you do and all that you say. You may want to tell a little white lie on occasion – don’t. You can be honest in every thing you do and all that you say. Sometimes we can say a little too much and we think we need to lie to get out of a situation. This is not true! There are ways of speaking that will allow us to be totally honest at all times. Learn these techniques. Sometimes we just say TOO Much and this get’s us into trouble. When someone asks you a question and your immediate thought is to lie, pause and think about what would be to most honest way to answer the question. It may not be the way you normally answer a question, but, with clever wording it will earn you respect.

10. “I AM a good person to be around”.

Make it your aim to do one thing today to help someone else. Even if it’s only a small thing. You WILL be appreciated! Watch that one thing you do today become more and more frequent. The more things you do that make someone else smile at you the more confident you will be to do it again. Even if you don’t feel that what you did was appreciated by that other person – Who cares! The important thing is that you know you did something nice and that is your reward. Give unconditionally!
